The Postponement to 2022
The Sci Fi Ball will be transferred in its entirety to February 11th – 13th 2022; there will be no change in price for 2022 hotel room bookings and no further payments for rooms will be required until November 2021. Sci-Fi Ball bookings will remain exactly the same, but will be now held for the weekend February 11th – 13th 2022.

Refunds
As this is a postponement and not a cancellation there will be no refunds, the event will take place in 2022
Patrons
All current memberships will be carried over to 2022
Guest List
Due to the pandemic we have not contracted further guests at this time given that many are hesitant to sign this far ahead due to the situation with the pandemic, travel and quarantine is very prohibitive. However, we do have a wonderful line up for our 2022 launch at our new hotel and we will bring you the latest as soon as we are able
Crew News
We are continuing to meet over Zoom once a month and have had some very productive and fun meetings. Two of our members have had Covid-19 and we are happy to report they have recovered well; Brett continues treatment and is also doing well, the rest of the team is hale and hearty and all of us are looking forward to 2022
Interim Events
Sci-Fi Ball will be holding an online event over the February weekend in 2021 for everyone who has booked; there will be a charge for anyone who has not booked for the Ball weekend. A programme will be posted when finalised. Yes, we know it won’t be the same, but at least we can all have a get together with a bit of fun to assuage our disappointment
