Sci-Fi Ball 25 Tickets

The Sci-Fi Ball has been running for twenty-five years and has established some well-loved traditions. However, we have been compelled to change one of our traditions due to such a greater awareness of how all companies impact our planet - including us.

We know many of you enjoy receiving your tickets and info packs in the post for our event, but now with greater global awareness of environmental issues, we cannot in good conscience continue this tradition and have decided that all of our tickets and printed media will no longer be posted in an attempt to keep the Ball as environmentally friendly as possible.

Sci-Fi Ball 25 will be the first of our events that we abandon this tradition in favour of reducing our carbon footprint and instead ask our attendees to simply collect your tickets and welcome packs from our registration desk at the Grand Harbour Hotel during the weekend itself.

To help ease this change, our registration desk will now be opening from 9am every day during the weekend, including on Friday. We believe by taking these painless little steps, that we might start discovering other ways to look after Mother Nature (no, we're not talking about our Annie!) and we hope our decision might inspire you to start considering alternatives too. It just takes a little thought and creativity.

An example of this is a special social media document below. Instead of us printing hundreds of these and sending them out in the post, we ask you to save the image below and rather than print it, present it on a phone, laptop or tablet and share on social media that you're going to the Ball using #SciFiBall25 and we'll reward one lucky winner with a Sci-Fi Ball goodie bag (presented at the closing ceremony).

We hope you understand our decision and that if we all work together, we can discover other ways to look after our planet for future generations to come whilst still enjoying the best Sci-Fi weekend we can create.

If you have any questions about your hotel room booking, please remember to contact the Grand Harbour Hotel directly, or if you have a booking query about the Ball, please e-mail our Booking Elf at
