Technical Manager

Hi! I'm Chris and I run the tech crew at the Sci-Fi Ball. I've been doing the event for the past 15 years - it started when a friend of mine said, ‘Hey, want to come and help at this event?’, Fortunately I didn't say no, because if I had, I would have regretted it for the rest of my life.  You won't see too much of me during the event as we are behind the scenes making sure we have video, screens, sound and silly sound effects for the game shows, but you'll usually find me hiding at the back of the main hall - so please do come and say hello.

Fun Fact

I used to take part in country and western shows and was forever making small explosive devices to burst blood bags for good effect!
