Our 130 elegant bedrooms are comfortable, traditionally furnished and boast a range of modern conveniences.  We also have accessible rooms, available upon request.

Cost Per Night

• Thursday 11th February for one night - £70.00 bed and breakfast for single occupancy or two in a double or twin room.
• Friday 12th - Monday 15th February per night - £85.00 single occupancy or £95.00 double occupancy in a double or twin room.
• Monday 15th February for one night - £70.00 bed and breakfast for single occupancy or two in a double or twin room.

 

Sofa beds and extra beds are available subject to availability.

Your bedroom will be available from 2pm on the day of arrival. On the day of departure we ask that you vacate your room by 11am.

At The Hotel

Breakfast

If you are staying in the hotel a full breakfast for up to two people is provided inclusive of your room charge.

Additional breakfasts may be purchased from the hotel.

Lunch

The hotel will be providing reasonably-priced convention food during the day and has an excellent restaurant.

Evening Meals

A good choice of evening meals is offered by the hotel. A 3–course dinner is provided on the Saturday night if your ticket includes dining. Platinum and Gold pass holders are also provided with a buffet meal and glass of bubbly on the Friday night.

When you book your tickets to the event we will provide you with a code that only Sci-Fi Ball attendees are given as all rooms are taken off sale to the general public during the Sci-Fi Ball. You will not be able to book a room unless you call the hotel .

UPDATE:
All booked rooms (over past 2 years) have been transferred to 2023.
However, due to the length of time since the first bookings all attendees that have booked need to ring/email the hotel and confirm all their details for that booking eg:-
Type of room dates and number of nights/people, balances due and by when etc.

When you book to attend the Sci-Fi Ball you can reserve a room in the event hotel. Rooms in the hotel are limited and issued on a first come first served basis. If we are unable to accommodate you we will let you know at the earliest opportunity to enable you to find alternative accommodation.

We fully book all rooms in the event hotel for the Friday and Saturday nights of the event. It will not be possible to successfully book a room by going direct to the hotel or by using an internet hotel booking agent.

Payment for the room is made direct to the hotel at the event.

To confirm your bedroom reservation, we require a £50 non-refundable deposit along with a credit/debit card.

Room cancellation is possible up to 14 days before the event only losing the £50 deposit. After this date you will be charged for the nights booked.

Car Parking

Parking is free and there are spaces for 350 cars.

Other Facilities

The hotel has a fully equipped gym and spa for use by hotel residents as well as the Winchester Restaurant, Sports Bar and Wickham Lounge.

Smoking is not permitted in any part of the hotel including the bedrooms. A smoking area is provided outside the hotel.
