I’m Duncan and, along with the other usual suspects, I’ve been helping run The Ball from behind the scenes since it’s pre-history. I do all our design work – such as our adverts and the event guide that you (hopefully) enjoy reading and getting signed at each event.  If it’s printed, promotional or a game that’s up on screen, then it was likely me wot done it. During the Ball itself,  I also run the stage crew; we make the stage and main hall look shiny.

I gave a talk about creating fan magazines at the very first Ball.  History and my memory do not record if anyone turned up...
