Headline sponsor, The Horror Channel will be taking over the mezzanine level of the stunning four star Grand Harbour Hotel with a
Horror Channel - Sci-Fi Zone. The take-over will comprise of an extra special immersive screening room in the style of Star Trek: The Next Generation’s Holodeck, which will show the best episodes from the Star Trek franchise and will be filled with comfy bean bags and loungers for fans to kick-back and enjoy their favourite episodes together.

The Sci-Fi Zone will include The Horror Channel Stage - offering intimate guest talks with many special guests, including celebrities from sci-fi, authors, special effects demonstrations and playing host to cosplay competitions. The Horror Channel will also be giving away some very special prizes too.

The West End Production of Dark Sublime, a new play by Michael Dennis, starring Star Trek: The Next Generation’s Marina Sirtis and the voice of The League of Gentlemen/Sherlock/Doctor Who’s Mark Gatiss, are sending mutli-award-winning theatre director Andrew Keates and lead producers Jamie Chapman Dixon and Piers Cottee Jones to offer talks about their upcoming production at Trafalgar Studios and how science fiction and theatre can influence each other. They will be giving away promotional items, exclusive ticket promotions for Sci-Fi Ball attendees and participating in the event itself.

Friday

11:30 - 12:00: Welcome for new attendees from the Sci-Fi Ball ambassadors.

12:15 - 13:00: Claire Brandt will be demonstrating SFX make-up as well as sharing tips and tricks about decorating your cosplay props and costumes.

13:00 - 13:45: Our intrepid host Brett Jones offers a talk and takes questions about working on the Captain Scarlett reboot as a 3D visual art- ist, as well as many other sci-fi productions.

14:00 - 14:45: Author Kit Cox discusses his many books and his love of Steampunk.

16:00 - 16:45: Director Andrew Keates and Producers Jamie Chapman Dixon and Piers Cottee-Jones from the West End production of Dark Sub- lime discuss their upcoming production coming to Trafalgar Studios, which stars Marina Sir- tis, Mark Gatiss and the panel discuss their show and how theatre and sci-fi has influenced each other.

Saturday

14:30 - 15:00: Claire Brandt will be demonstrating SFX make-up as well as sharing tips and tricks about decorating your cosplay props and costumes.

15:15 - 16:00: Take part in our cosplay competition with host Athena Nobelium to snatch the title of Sci-Fi Ball 25 Grand Cosplay Winner! Prizes available for the best cosplay, open to all.

Sunday
